Brides on Thorndon was started in 1999 by current owner and operator, Jillian. In those early days, this gorgeous boutique called 219 Thorndon Quay home, inspiring it’s name.
In early 2003, Brides on Thorndon moved across the road to Level One at 220 Thorndon Quay, a more spacious and elegant showroom. 2011 saw Brides On Thorndon move downtown to the CBD of Wellington to a stunning new showroom. This showroom boasted beautiful window displays, on the corner of Customhouse Quay and Brandon St. In 2018, Brides on Thorndon moved to 52 Cambridge Terrace, Te Aro - a generous, bright boutique with charm and flair.
